Objectives and Scope

Arabian Projects and Transport Company (APTC) Group has developed a Quality Management System, to satisfy the needs of its cus-tomers and to improve the system.

THE APTC GROUP QUALITY OBJECTIVES ARE:

ARABIAN PROJECTS AND TRANSPORT COMPANY (APTC) was established in the year 1985 as a local Omani LLC Company. During these years, the staff strength of the company has grown from 20 personnel to in excess of 1000 personnel and the turnover has increased from R.O. 300,000 - per annum to projected circa R.O. 15,000,000 - per annum today.
APTC is a professionally managed company with its Board consisting of Omani and non-Omani Directors.
The day-to-day management and administration of the Company is overseen by the Management Committee (Management Board) under the Chairmanship, direction and control of the Group President.

APTC’s recruitment ethos is to employ an appropriately qualified and experienced individual in whatever function they perform.
The company’s activities are carried out as individual projects. Each project is headed by a Project Manager and is assisted by a team of appropriately qualified and trained engineers, operators, craftsmen and operatives.


Execution of our projects is effectively monitored by conducting review meetings at appropriate intervals depending upon the duration and size of the contracts. The standard adopted for executing the projects are as per the standard operating procedures of the company which are based on best practice procedures currently used within the construction industry.



The projects undertaken by the company have won the admiration of our customers and the business success is founded on a strong repeat business strategy.

The company presently owns circa 500 diversified light and heavy vehicles in its transport fleet.


Some of its specialised heavy equipment includes Bull Dozers, Rock Breakers, Wheel Loader, Graders, Rock Excavators, Rollers, Shovels, low bed transporters, Dumpers, Tippers – fixed body and trailer.

Besides the plant and equipment holding, for meeting its project needs, the company owns a host of complimentary accessories.
